My first project at 4:3 Creative was to prove myself with a speculative design for a skateboard retail company.
I created TM, a company that had no spokesperson and was not involved in sponsorship. The idea being that the logo and the merchandise would always speak for itself. The idea of the branding would be to apply the TM logo to an item, area, or person and 'trademark' them as the company's own. A sort of guerilla tactic to garner attention without traditional markering methods.
Another visual means of communicating this brand was to apply a coloured strip across a grey and dull area, letting a bystander know someone related to TM had been there. In effect, trademarking and stealing a certain place in the company's name.
